Message from our Founder

Welcome to our family at Colonial Assisted Living! Colonial Assisted Living was created from my genuine desire to help seniors truly thrive in their golden years. My dedication to seniors living is deeply rooted in my family. As a third generation of assisted living operators, I am deeply committed and passionate about being a resident advocate. It has been embedded at my core and the love for caring for our grandmas and grandpas runs in my blood. From the age of eight years old, I have spent my early childhood days at my grandmother’s retirement community, “Jenny’s Retirement Home”, in Miami Beach, FL.

I remember through my teenage years serving at my mother’s facility, “Hollwood Beach Retirement”, in Hollywood, FL; where I would come after school to help run activities and serve meals to residents in the dining room. As time went on, my passion grew and I worked part time at my family’s facilities, while attending a leading medical program at Nova Southeastern University, majoring in Pharmacology.

In 2008, I took to my family tradition of operating retirement homes by starting my very own community in West Palm Beach, Florida. There, I was grateful to deploy the skillset embedded in me from my earlier years, combined with my passion for seniors. I have handpicked a team of dedicated staff and care personnel to create a truly family styled community. Throughout the next decade, together with my team, we have answered the call for affordable senior living needs by launching communities for seniors in desperately needed regions of South Florida. Today, we gratefully serve most of Florida’s major cities, while still maintaining that small, family-like lifestyle environment.

Our amazing team of caretakers have each been trained with the same dedication and love that has run in my family for over 50 years. It’s with that warmth, that each of our Colonial Assisted Living communities is founded and nurtured with.
